This Fans that you are seeing are turkey and goose feather fan. But there are many different types of fans such as Eagle fans, Hawk fans, Goose fans. The fans are used to fan the spirits up from the ground while you are dancing.
In women's jingle and traditional dance, the fan is a very important piece of the regalia. It is usually beaded and is raised to the drum, in honor, during the "honor" beats of the songs
