Description:
Wooden arrows was the most common of arrows used by Native Americans for all uses. Whether it be for hunting or war. Wooden arrows were introduced by The Coquille, a native Oregon Indian tribe, who were the first to discover the use of cedar. The hand made shafts were lightweight, tough and resilient and most of all, straight.
Modern day arrows, can still be made of wood, but are commonly made of fiber-glass, aluminum, carbon, and aluminum carbon. These modern day arrows are faster, straighter, lighter and more lethal.
