Hi, my name is Julie Ann Timmer. I was born and raised in Brimley, Michigan. I love being in the outdoors, and spend most of my time hunting, dirt biking, and snowmobiling. I attended Brimley Area Schools, where I participated in basketball, volleyball, and track. I am currently a senior at Lake Superior State University pursuing a bachelor's in Business Administration - Business Education, with a minor in Economics Teaching.

Once I begin my career, I plan on continuing my education to a Master's, possibly with Special Education. I'm not really sure were I'd like to pursue my Masters yet, but I'm keeping my eyes open.

I've had the best opportunity by being an intern for this workshop to create this website with youth from the local area. I've felt that this experience has enabled me to become a better teacher in the future by beginning my search for who I really am. Plus it enabled me to get the chance out of my busy schedule to sit down and learn my own heritage.
